This game is the classic version from 2005 and the Matches previous lowest price on Steam.

The main reason I posted this was because of the PC mod Resident Evil 4 HD Project. It is probably (no exaggeration) the finest and most professionally made mod in the history of modding. Also extremely easy to install, just download and click a button, it does the rest.

The update and enhancement to the graphics this mod delivers is truly stunning and (no joke) has to be seen to be believed, please check out this short 3rd party YouTube video to see for yourself.

The results of their work, clearly matches (and even surpasses) the fruit of a much larger force of people and I think that alone should be saluted, but also the level of dedication and love put into this mod and what it actually achieves, is really astonishing imo. Nothing was sparred and they went full gangbusters in a way that developers never do in regards to HD enhancements of their games.

I know that RE4 Remake is very popular and well received, but this original game offers a very different experience, both in style of gameplay and story and atmosphere. As good as the Remake looks, this is the OG game, with all it’s quirks, story and cheesy goodness still intact and some folks still prefer it to the remade version for these reasons.
