Course runs for 10 weeks commencing 15th November, 2024
Prepare food using basic methods of cookery, such as baking, steaming, grilling, etc.
Follow standard recipes
Use equipment safely and hygienically to prepare food
Prevent food contamination
Prepare, store and dispose food safely and hygienically
Apply safe work practices in a commercial kitchen environment
A nationally accredited Statement of Attainment
A pathway to further study in cookery
Credit toward both the Certificate II in Cookery and the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Skills to create basic dishes using a variety of cookery methods
