Serif have been spamming me with deals to upgrade to affinity v2. Curious, I checked ozbargain and saw that there was a deal which I missed which was upgrade for ~$40, over double what they were advertising in my inbox, so I did some hunting around and found that I was able to check out with some cheap regional pricing à la the Phillipines. It’s 10% more expensive than that deal which I missed, but at under $50 it’s a great deal, and as an added bonus, it includes roughly ~$400 AUD of bonus material (at heavily inflated prices I am sure, but a nice extra irrespective).

Steps (I used my iPhone for all of this, YMMV with other platforms):

1: Tunnel bear free vpn to Phillipines (or your preferred vpn, I just used TB because it was free and easy to use).
2: Private browsing -> https://affinity.serif.com/ -> add universal license (on sale) to cart.
3: Add random Phillipines address inside the checkout flow (just open Apple Maps and drop a pin somewhere in manila).
4: Checkout with PayPal. Using a credit card forces you to add your real billing address which wont work.
