Seven museums across WA will be free entry from December 15 to March 31, including WA Museum Boola Bardip.

The free museum initiative is part of a $1.1 million program that will run from December 15, 2024 until March 31, 2025 – and includes general admission to all museums run by the State Government’s Western Australian Museum organisation.

Alongside WA Museum Boola Bardip, other museums that will be free entry include the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle and Gwoonwardu Mia Gascoyne Aboriginal Heritage and Cultural Centre, while the WA Shipwreck Museum, Museum of the Great Southern, Museum of Geraldton and Museum of the Goldfields will remain free to enter.
